We have worked with hundreds of brides in various venues in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Our experienced professionals will personally meet with you ahead of time to help you to coordinate your reception from beginning to end, tailoring it to your individual tastes and will help guide you through the details by offering advice or suggestions. You only have one chance to create the memories that you will cherish for years to come. Here are just a few things to consider when hiring a DJ for your special day.

MUSIC

Diamond DJs has collections of over 20,000 songs(radio edited clean versions) including Big Band, Classical, Oldies of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s, Beach, Country, Disco, Motown, the hits of the 80’s and 90’s and the top hits of today. You will be provided a booklet listing the most popular songs in all categories and some suggestions of songs to consider for each of the day’s special events. You get to choose what we play and we can accommodate requests from your guests as well.  If you would like to bring your own personal music, we can play just about any file format you would like, mp3, mp4, wav etc. You can burn them on a cd or put them on a jump drive (also called a thumb drive).  You also choose the volume level of the music.

APPEARANCE

Your DJ will be attired in a full tuxedo, unless you request otherwise, so as to look as professional as he sounds.

MASTER OF CEREMONIES/ANNOUNCEMENTS

Your DJ can also perform as the Master of Ceremonies, coordinating your entire reception which also includes making any announcements that you desire, including announcing the wedding party.

DJ INTERACTION

How much or how little interaction would you like the DJ to have with your guests? Remember this is your day and we are there to support you, not steal the show!

EQUIPMENT

Diamond DJs uses only the best professional sound equipment money can buy. If it didn’t make a difference, we wouldn’t have spent the extra money for it. You will hear and appreciate the difference. We also bring back up equipment.

INSURANCE

We have $1,000,000 in liability insurance which allows us to DJ in any venue in Charlotte.

LIGHTING

Dance floor

Because lighting is so important in “setting the mood” on the dance floor, we include it at no extra charge.

RATES AND AVAILABILITY

Diamond DJs prices are reasonable for the level of quality we provide and the experience we possess. You may find someone cheaper, but we guarantee you will not find anyone better. We’re not the most expensive because we don’t have a large advertising budget and we don’t spend money hiring and training new DJ’s. We don’t charge extra for being a “lead” or “premium” DJ. We are the most experienced DJs in the Charlotte area. We prefer doing business as a small group of dedicated professionals making sure your wedding day turns out better than you ever thought possible.
